The plot for Mr. Sharan's villa is located at a road intersection, which allowed us to merge the north and east facades by juxtaposing boxy voids and projections. The facades are defined by airy balconies letting in ample amount of natural light and creating cross breezes, which brings the interiors close to nature.

A double-heighted informal living area towards the north ties the interior spaces together three-dimensionally. This space is further enhanced by a perforated HPL sheet in the facade that creates an interesting play in light and shadow by taking advantage of the soft north light.
